Land Reform

It’s an unwritten and widely unacknowledged fact, that land always ends up belonging to the most violent.

Currently land is a private good. Only few priviledged people own most of the land while others have to rent it. In areas where the demand for land is high like big cities with many jobs the rents climb up extremly high. The owners of such land get high profilts for almost no work.

It is about time to admit that native tribes like Indians, Aboriginies, etc. have been smarter as they knew that land belongs to mother earth and can not be owned by an individual. Also people like Adolf Damaschke and Silvio Gesell proposed a land reform process to turn land back into a public property.

Land as public good

We will slowly change land back to a public good that can only be rented from the public (all humans) but never be bought and inherited by private individuals. This will be done by creating a fund that gets money from surplus and will use it to buy land back from private owners. This land is considered as public good that can be rented by persons and companies. The rental is based on a contract with conditions to treat the land properly. So if you poison it the contract is broken and you will get punished. Like today there will be land that can not be rented as it is preserved for nature. This will especially apply to all the shores and river banks.
