Possible improvements

  • Update cylc version (we're currently running an ancient unsupported version which I think is based on Python2...)

  • Update WRF version

  • Update FVCOM (esp coare)

  • Transfer to new ceto

  • Find a more reliable atmospheric forcing than GFS

  • Get live validation from L4 and E1 data (and EA river data)

  • Option to compile the FVCOM code as well as run. This would be useful for full traceability and to keep the fvcom code up to date

  • Ditto for WRF

  • Setup Rose bunch to give an overview/control of all the suites

  • Check there is enough space on Sthenno and warn the op mod manager if space is starting to get low
