Goals and Milestones

The official UCSC WordPress theme will work with the new WordPress block theming system and the block editor, giving campus web authors new capabilities to manage content on their sites.

• b.1 - 2/4/2022: contains all of the global regions of the current WCMS sites
  • Global header with logo, search, and utility links
  • Global footer with fixed campus info and custom per-site links
  • Site title and main nav region
  • Can be downloaded and installed by users
  • Can be previewed by anyone with the correct link
• b.2 - 2/11/2022: has all of the base styles configured (02/28/2022)
• b.3 - 3/4/2022: has all core blocks styled and working; ready for users; feedback capture from users is possible
• b.4 - 3/31/2022: has UCSC custom blocks styled and working; incorporates feedback from users
• b.5 sets site editor permissions appropriately; incorporates feedback from users
