PuppetState

Standalone Puppet Configuration Editor.

Manage your Puppet configs with Git, drag and drop code and variables from a palette, see the whole Puppet tree, create new manifests, project wide variable renaming (refactoring) all the benefits of an IDE in a simple to use program.

Installing PuppetState

Download the installer for your operating system and run. Simple! You may have to change the Unix ones to executable depending on your system.

Using PuppetState

Open the program by clicking the icon, or the start menu entry.

Cloning Puppet Configs

Select Clone from the Team menu

PuppetState detects that it is a Puppet configuration tree, and offers to open it, choose this.

Editing Puppet Manifest Files with PuppetState

Once you have cloned your repo will appear in the Projects window
