Basic calculation in astrophysics

  1. Gaussian Units
    Basic equations to define the constants and \bm{units}
    Coulomb's law: $\vec{F_c} = k_c \frac{q_1 q_2}{r^2} \hat{r}$ (1)
    Ampère's force law: $\frac{dF_A}{dL} = 2k_A\frac{I_1 I_2}{r} (2)$
    Lorentz force: $\vec{F_L} = \alpha_L q \vec{v} \times \vec{B}$ \
