Welcome to the SimTelemetry wiki. This is a project which has the intention to provide telemetry data for several simulators both realtime and analyzable data. Initially this project works with rFactor V1.255, beta support for GTR2 and alpha for rFactor2 , initial buid ONLY. Support for other simulators is planned once the core functions are finished.
At this moment there are 2 applications in the repository. SimTelemetry is currently a telemetry logger and viewer. Logging is integrated into LiveTelemetry and will be linked with SimTelemetry. SimTelemetry will only be telemetry viewer and exporter.
LiveTelemetry is a dashboard application which displays lap times, track map and various details. Example:
Other subprojects are DLL's to be used for defining objects, game plugins and the data recorder/player.
The todo list includes:
- Finalize data logging features
- Data log viewer interfaces
- More simulators
- Network support (possibly requiring a NetworkMemoryReader class)
- Framework for writing own applications based on the telemetry.
- More data channels to capture from various simulators.
