Module update: Compare Voice-Test
Module Update!
Since the Test-Plataform developers have changed the way the output file organizes the information, a minor correction needed to be made in order for the correct values to be compared. If you are still using an old version of the Test-Plataform program, it is strongly recommended to update it to the new version (3.2).
New features:
- Added the CED files for both the cases in which the EEG recording was made only with 19 channels or with 19 channels and an extra E-Prime event mark.
Bug fix:
- Fixed an incorrect variable in the EEG processing module
Bug fix: Voice recognition module
Very Important Update!
The module of voice recognition on the two last versions of Protolize 2!! were loading incorrect values when one tried to upload CSV files to be analysed. To correctly analyse CSV files, this new version (1.1b) MUST be downloaded!
Bug fix:
- Fixed the way the time moments were uploaded from a CSV file into the voice recognition module
New Feature: Events!
New features:
- Protolize now is able to mark events on an EEG
- Now EEG can be fully analysed to be cut later
- Spreadsheet now must follow a new format (a example was added to the compressed file)
Bug fixes:
- Compare Voice-Test module's logic had to be slightly adjusted
New Feature: CSV analysis in Voice Module
New features:
- Voice modules now allows users to upload CSV files to be analysed independently
Bug fixes:
- Updated Protolize to work with new versions of MATLAB (from R2012b onward)
Bug Fix: ICA channels
Bug fixes:
- Fixed a hardcoded array of channels values that stopped the program whenever the user chose a different ammount of channels to run the ICA on
- Added a filter to ECG module to reduce the ammount of peaks that are detected
New feature: removed JAVA dependency!
New features:
- Fully removed dependency on JAVA in EDF Converter and Separate EMG-EDA modules
- ECG Module can add/remove multiple points now using Alt + Click during Edit R mode
- The verification of moments processed in Voice Module can be done using the mouse to click on the points that one wishes to add/remove similar to what is done at the ECG Module
- Multiple files can be uploaded to ECG Module and CWT Module
- Parameters Configuration can now be restored to default values
Bug fixes:
- Message pop-ups can be closed now and will not crash the process
- Fixed the problem that happened when one tried to change the parameters at EEG Processing and STUDY/Mapping modules
New Module! Creating STUDY and Mapping
New features:
- New module: STUDY/Mapping Module!
- EMG/EDA Module now generate a CSV file with statistic values after the processing.
- EDF Converter now has a new function that converts Annotations to a CSV file.
Bug fixes:
- Compare module now calculates the delay time differently by checking the existence of a response between two stimuli.
- EEG Module now uses EEGLab to read the channel labels and display the list from which is possible to pick the channels to rerefer and remove.
- Channel location and artifact removing are perfomed manually after the EDF files are analysed.
- To avoid "Out of memory" error, the dataset now is resampled before performing the ICA.
New modules! Processing EMG signals
New modules! Processing EMG signals
New features:
- The tools we made here enabled us to create an EMG processing tool, akin the EEG one.
- The voice analysis is now seperated into two new modules: one of them is responsible for discovering initial moments on speech and filtering false positives; while the other matches tests' results to this voice analysis result.
Bug fixes:
- The EMG-EDA separation module now saves the output signals correctly.
New feature: EEG module!
This new version of Protolize! has some new features to help you process your signals:
- The studies menu is now called "Tools", and will contain some useful scripts for you, specially the EEGModule, a chain of EEG processing scripts to automate the initial steps, from rejecting channels to cleaning your signal with ICA.
- Brand new EDF jar! Actually, this is just the updated version, nothing new.
- Brand new documentation!
- Some bug fixes, including the failure of loading the EDF jar in some modules.
Merry Christmas for y'all!
The first useful release
Protolize! still has a long way to go, but it is already being used for research and data processing as it is now, so we might release it and check what might happen from now on.
