Function: Voigt profile.

We will use Voigt profiles for our interstellar absorption lines, and express them in astrophysical parameters (e.g. column density). This technically always produces absorption lines, so it excludes the possibility of fitting other types of lines. However, there is a also strictly mathematical version of a Voigt profile.
