At this stage in the robot's development the main focus will be to provide tools which will allow the robot to gather as much information as possible. Although the robot may not have the capability to analyse all the data it acquires at this time, the main goal of this step is to create a knowledge base from which accurate assumptions can be calculated in the future.

• barometric pressure readings
• logs of conversations
• logs of auditory data

"big data is not magic," It doesn’t matter how much data you have if you can’t make sense of it.
