Empy 4.0 stopped supporting @), instead prompting users to use ) (see http://www.alcyone.com/software/empy/ANNOUNCE.html#changes).

I haven't put in the time to check this - likely needs a bit more work.

this still seems to fail with the newer empy versions. Is that what you are trying to fix?

Yeah, I was - it claims to fail because empy no longer supports @) and instead only ), but I found a local workaround so stopped working on this
