This is a small experiment, allowing you to have a portable JRuby environment with only 5 files.
1/ JRE >= 1.6 2/ The bin subdirectory must be in the PATH of the current user
1/ Only 3 commands are provided: jruby, jirb, jgem. 2/ --1.9 ruby mode is turned on by default. 3/ Calling jruby from the root of a Windows filesystem will not work. 4/ 'jgem list' may not work properly depending on your .gemrc
jruby -v
jruby 1.6.0.RC2 (ruby 1.9.2 patchlevel 136) (2011-02-09 5434c72) (Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_23) [Windows Vista-x86-java]
jirb -v
irb 0.9.6(09/06/30)
