Public Beta Release #2 - SanchoNet
Cardano Explorer (Public Beta)
Release Number: Public Beta Release #2 - SanchoNet
RELEASE NOTES
New Features
- Existing Explorer user interface and functionality as of the latest release (Public Beta #2) now supports the SanchoNet network, Cardano’s CIP-1694 testnet. SanchoNet is accessible through the network dropdown at the top right corner of the page.
Known Limitations:
- New functionalities and properties introduced with Sanchonet (e.g. governance, new/changed operational certificates) are not yet supported. These new features will be gradually worked on and introduced to the Explorer
- Live stake and rewards data will be unavailable until Sanchonet is supported by the data provider. Unavailability of rewards data may impact the accuracy of stake address balances when reward balance is nonzero
- Limited support and maintenance: Any issues regarding the network maintenance (e.g. network restarts) will be dealt with on a best effort basis

- Staking lifecycle reward view: Reward distribution visuals updated for clarity of the transaction pattern
- Search: Improved search accuracy in particular when input is text (pool ticker, pool name or token name)
- Address truncation: User interface has been set to use the available space on screen for addresses before truncation
- Pools page: Added sorting to columns on pools page, and an option to filter retired pools
- Pool metadata: Improvements to the logic to display stake pool metadata, by referring to the latest pool certificate
- Pool details: Pool details page displays pool certificates history and the status of the pool (e.g. active/retired)
- Pool hash support: Added support to search stake pools by pool hash
- Absolute slot number: Now clearly displayed across the Explorer
- Collateral: Collaterals tab under transaction details has been aligned to the UTXO tab information layout
- Genesis block: Clearly highlighted in blocks list alongside its contents

- Miscellaneous: Various other usability improvements
Fixes
- Rewards distributed of a few epochs were showing not available
- Rewards not yet distributed were displayed as zeroes instead of not available under pool details
- Reactivated pools were shown as retired in staking lifecycle tabular view
- Some non-fungible tokens (NFT) were shown as fungible tokens (FT)
- Asset policy wasn’t checked alongside asset name while printing the token's quantity to total output
Known Limitations
- Please note that all existing user credentials will be discarded with this release. This is a known limitation from the changes to the identity and access management infrastructure. You can easily sign up to the Explorer using the “Sign In” button at the top right corner of the screen. Thank you for your understanding.
