Parody Maker

This is a website that helps users make parodies of songs.

Installation

1. Clone this repository
2. npm install
3. npm run dev
4. Open http://localhost:3000/ in a web browser

Current Features

• Checks number of syllables and syllable stress of each parody line compared to the original

Planned Features

• Option to disable syllable checking for certain lines
• Suggesting alternative words when selecting word/phrase
• Improve support for contractions, slang, and repeated syllables (ex: Thunder by Imagine Dragons)
• Add support for multiple pronunciations of the same word (ex: American vs British pronunciation of "garage")
