Verse Of The Day

A bot that broadcasts the Verse Of The Day to a specified channel at a specified time, daily. Developed By Ben Robson

Setup

• Clone this repository by running git clone https://github.com/craftingforchrist/Verse-Of-The-Day
• cd into the folder and open a Command Prompt or Shell window and install all packages with npm install
• Rename .env.example to .env
• Grab a Discord Bot token from https://discord.com/developers/ and put it in the discordtoken bit.
• Go to https://developers.youversion.com/ and obtain a YouVersion token and put it in the youversiontoken bit.

• Customise the channel and time for daily broadcast.
• Launch the bot with node app
