Welcome to the RPGTCG wiki!
This project is an attempt by aspiring game developers to create a virtual card game as an aid to long-distance tabletop RPG's. We are taking the aspect of tabletop games that we love most, and combining them into an easy-to-use multiplayer card game.
While there has been a strong emphasis on duels in classic TCG's, the emphasis of this game is in party-based play, with one player (the GM) controlling the difficulty of the encounter for the other players (the party). We also hope to create a system wherein dueling is still fair and balanced, but that is secondary.
The premise of the game is that you have a role playing session in somewhat of a tabletop format over the computer, so instead of using dice and statistics, you can use a card system.
It's all kept track of by the computer, so you can spend a lot more time playing the game and having fun, rather than trying to calculate what the effects of your actions are.
