In this project we developed a python simulation of Pluto and its moons. We used the HORIZONS system from NASA as a reference on how our orbits should be. The result was pretty accurate after considering an approximation by spheric-harmonics for the potential. This considered some of the bodies used in the simulation as oblate objects instead of perfect spheres.

The models used were numbered from 1 to 4 for those that used the baricenter of Pluto's local system as the reference origin. However, these models showed a precession that got corrected when using the solar system's baricenter as the origin. Those models, 5 and 6, were done on a separate notebook.

En este proyecto desarrollamos una simulación en python de Plutón y sus lunas. Utilizamos el sistema HORIZONS de la NASA como referencia de cómo debían ser nuestras órbitas. El resultado fue bastante acertado después de considerar una aproximación por armónicos-esféricos para el potencial. Éste consideró algunos de los cuerpos en la simulación como objetos oblatos en lugar de esferas.

Los modelos usados fueron numerados del 1 al 4 para aquellos con el baricentro del sistema local de Plutón como su origen de referencia. Sin embargo, estos modelos mostraron una precesión que se corrigió usando el baricentro del sistema solar como el origen. Esos modelos, 5 y 6, se hicieron en un cuaderno separado.
