Does contributing to open source projects seem interesting but scary to you? It scared me a lot, but its easier than you think. Here is an ongoing list of ways that newcomers and contribute to flixel. Before attempting one, be sure to check out the Contribution Guide, especially if you're new to git.

Better Demos

Demos are an important step for people learning HaxeFlixel, whenever people ask how to use Flixel features I typically send them a link to a demo.

  1. Polish up demos - Many old demos don't work on html and need to be removed or fixed; various others can be greatly improved in various ways.
  2. Use Kenney Assets in some of the demos - Some of the demos look like they were made over a decade ago, because they were! lets modernize them with new images with some free-to-use graphics

Plans for more Proofs - Snippets are one of Flixel's best documetation tools, we could always benefit from having more

Web Dev Stuff

Easy Changes

I've added the Easy Change tag to Flixel's Github issues so people can easily find them without needing to manually add them to this list. I'll add this tag for other libraries, soon.
