Trajectories

The thicker lines represent the storm tracks while the thinner lines represent the drifters. We plot only the last 50 or so point of the drifter trajectories and color the track based on the mean temperature of those points

This repository contains notebooks to get you started with the HURDAT2 dataset using python and the xarray library.

These notebooks should be readily executable in a binder environment which can be launched by clicking the "launch binder" badge above ☝️. Alternatively, you can run locally the notebooks in a python environment containing the python libraries listed in the file environment.yml.
