Describe the Bug:
The calc feature does not work according to the example of "calc 2 * (1 + 1)" given in the UG

Expected Behaviour:
2 * (1 + 1) = 4

Actual Behaviour:
2 * (1 + 1) = INVALID EXPRESSION
