Describe the bug

Checkout using CashApp Pay fails with error "An error occurred, please try again or try an alternate form of payment." in WC 9.3. It is working fine in WC 9.2.x

To reproduce

  1. Upgrade to WooCommece 9.3(-rc-1)
  2. Try to place an order using CashApp Pay.
  3. Notice an error on the checkout page.

Expected behavior

CashApp Pay should work without any issues.

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • WordPress Version: 6.6.1
  • WooCommerce Version: 9.3-rc-1
  • WooCommerce Square Plugin Version: 4.7.3
  • Browser [e.g. chrome, safari] and Version
  • Any other plugins installed
