How should I interpret the error ghc-events-analyze: _startup not set? Is this a problem with my eventlog? Is there something I can do to work around it?

A coworker suggested this might be due to an incomplete eventlog, for example if I killed my program before it could flush the file. Can anyone confirm?

That sounds entirely plausible :) I haven't used this code in quite a long time now, so I'm not sure, but yeah, that sounds like it's possible. A lot of tooling doesn't like truncated eventlogs.
