During 23H2 the design team defined Platform Foundation to span the entire scope of VTEX Products. Due to its sharp shapes that better match the Inter font family and the variety of customization properties that appeal to storefront scenarios, the Material icon library was chosen.

The Admin team was already preparing Shoreline's 1.0 release at the time, so this adoption was postponed. Now is the time, however, to update the icon library and maintain this consistency across VTEX products.
