No data return for Notes table

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Start Sforce Table Query Wizard
2.Choose table "Note"
3.Choose any field with various query criteria (including none) 
4.Run Query

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see several rows of data (I know we have notes), but instead get 
error: No data returned for this query


What version of the product are you using?  sforce_connect_pe_winter11
On what operating system?  Windows 7 (Excel 2007)
With what Salesforce.com edition? Professional


Please provide any additional information below.
I'm able to retrieve data from other SF tables.  Is "Professional" edition
restricted from querying Notes??

Problem solved. Didn't know how to use the criteria builder properly.
