I am currently on version 1.0.97 and if I open the vendetta manager app I get a pop-up asking me to update it as expected. However as soon as I hit "Start" the app freezes and I have to force stop it and clear the cache in the app info

i'm not sure, but have you tried pressing "wait"? 💀
btw you can just grab the apk from releases
