One example of such a motor is Lynch motors and I wonder if it would be possible to use the VESC controller as well as firmware to control such motors?
Most recently hackaday posted that it is possible, sort of. But I'm wondering how "supported" this is, especially if you only have one motor. Would you need a dummy load of some sort or can the software compensate on one empty phase connector?
