Problem To Be Solved

The alarm creation screen can be unclear for new users and lacks the ability to choose punishments.
It also lacks dark mode support on some elements and the sound selection screen is not functional.

Motivation

Users are unable to choose punishments for their alarms and set sounds.
A more familiar iOS interface will make it easier for users to quickly understand how to use the app.

Proposed Solution

  • Utilize built-in Apple fonts such SF pro and native iOS components and design language to redesign the alarm creation screen.
  • Adjust visuals to make the app feel more native.
  • Add punishment selection sub-screen.
  • Make "Schedule Notification" button close alarm creation screen
  • Add ringtone selection sub-screen
  • Add new visuals to "Days Active" picker

Proposed Design:

Design from top to bottom:

  • Title: Alarm
  • < Label : Back
  • Title (Value): Name (Enter Name)
  • Title (Detail): Ringtone (Set Ringtone)
  • Title (Detail): Punishment (Choose Punishment)
  • Title: Alarm Activated (?)
  • A: Choose Active Days
  • Action: Create Alarm
