Ubuntu Touch 16.04 will no longer receive any further updates so don't expect any system-level fixes.

If the problem is with a particular app this issue is pointless and you should report the problem to the app author's git repo where this will actually be visible and potentially actionable in case they still want to publish app updates for 16.04

I guess they mean logviewer app. I do not remember when this stopped working, but its quite some time ago.
