It would be nice if we can at least include the major.minor.patch for the kernel version in the tag.

Ie

akmods:fsync-40-6.9.8

As an additional tag. It would make it easier to grab older versions and match them to the kernel instead of looping through the ostree.linux label and then pulling through date-tag

I agree this would be very helpful

As an additional tag.

100 percent agree we should add :${k_flavor}-${f_release}-${k_version} tags to each published image, but otherwise not change the tagging as there are (potentially) many consumers of akmods and I'd prefer not to disrupt those users.

@m2Giles @KyleGospo Did #230 effectively close this issue?

Looks so to me, maybe still need to add a trimmed tag?

A trimmed tag would be nice. But we should have the full version from kernel-cache so not 100% necessary.
