gt version 0.10.0 adds a new feature called "nanoplots" https://gt.rstudio.com/reference/cols_nanoplot.html

Since the validation tables are built with gt in the format_report_gt() function, there's a possibility of adding these to some of the validations. Just an idea and something to potentially play with at a future date.

This is a nice find! Reminds me of the Tufte sparkline concept.
