Doesn't work with latest versions

Amidst won't load because it requires Java 17 but I have Java 17 because I need it to run the latest versions of MC, maybe Amidst is picking one of my older java installations but those cannot go, I need them for older versions that I still play, perhaps do what MultiMC does and let me pick which Java installation Amidst uses?

I'm getting this error, running in Pop! OS, tho previously got the one you guys got. Still won't run anything newer than 1.17.1

Personally, I've moved to Minemap. It's a little buggy on my system, but I prefer it to the ones available.
