Mapping in transform

First, thank you a lot for this projetc. It's very helpful.
On my side, im trying to use the mapping feature inside the transform part for a children but it does'nt work.
When i take a look on the transform.py source code, i don't see the mapping function implemented ?

Could you explain to me how it's works ?
Because in the online documentation this feature is mentionned.
