Any solution for "top" output filling the logs? #50

Is there a way to suppress intermediate output from commands that redraw the screen, like "top" or "apt install", so that it doesn't clutter the logs?
I'd love to enable logging on all my tmux sessions, but the commands that redraw the screen produce enormous (and often badly formatted) log files.
