Self made 52 Card-Symbols for editor

After I couldn't find any ready-made card-images for my poker site that I liked, I quickly made some myself using Photoshop.

I wanted

• good readability with smallest possible dimensions
• low height, for use within a written line
• smallest possible file size

Result

• 48px x 33px
• good readability
  🙂 webP format with only 37 KB for the whole deck of 52 cards

I am using about 30 of these images in my following post:

The 4 suits are abbreviated in file names as follows

• c = Clubs (Kreuz)
• s = Spades (Pik)
• h = Hearts (Herz)
• d = Diamonds (Karo)

• I added the 4 used Pixabay-Images and License-Infos to the ZIP

Regarding Image licenses

• 4 used suit-images are from pixabay.com. As written in Pixabays Content License they can be used WITHOUT any Attribution
• Else the work is mine

Usage
😡 I used to manually copy the HTML code for each card into the source code of the post, which is very cumbersome and takes far too long.
🙂 Working with a text replace tool like Autohotkey or Beeftext makes it faster.
😡 Importing the images individually via the editor would take even longer
😡 Unfortunately the height of these images is still to much for using in sentences. It looks odd.
😡 Maybe have to make another set of 52.
