Ages ago i did this project for finding out how and why our conversations go the way they go. It builds a database of past discussions, and tries to identify what values are in tension or in support for a given argument. I want to understand what common themes are coming up, so that we can identify what TC39's design rationale is. This can be automated to a degree through something like sentiment analysis (or some adjacent NLP methods). I haven't had time for this, but I believe that students at the University of Bergen have picked this up.
