Idea: Partner with Simple-Login (also open-source) to provide throwaway email addresses

I currently self-host my own email server with Mailu. I do it mainly so I can do *@mydomain.com wildcard redirecting.

(I'd love to switch to Stalwart soon, just waiting for a web client to be added)

When I tell friends I self-host email they mostly think it's too much of a pain, until I mention wildcard forwarding and individually blockable addresses for each recipient, and that gets everyone interested.

Here's my idea: If Stalwart had something like Simple-Login built in as a plugin to provide that, it would be such a compelling package to recommend to everyone, and I'd certainly run it myself!

Who'd be able to resist rust-powered, self-hosted email with throwaway addresses built in!

The ability to generate one-off aliases in your browser with the browser extension and autofill them into forms + manage the aliases/redirect/toggle them via UI dashboard.

Ah, I haven't switched over to Stalwart yet and currently use a catch-all address with exim and on the rare occasion an address starts getting spam I set up a database rule to reject the address.
