The frontend plugins cannot be inserted via the new content element wizard as described in https://docs.typo3.org/m/typo3/reference-coreapi/main/en-us/ExtensionArchitecture/Extbase/Reference/FrontendPlugins.html#extbase-registration-of-frontend-plugins.
