Demos are sometimes broken

I have been using MatchZy as a plugin on my dathost server and I am using the demo recording feature every time. Unfortunately some demos are just broken. Where a usual demo will have 100-200mb these broken demos have 100kb. It's all random because we always do the same thing.
We Open the server -> both teams go !ready and then the match starts and the recording automatically starts and ends.
yet it seems that randomly some demos will just be broken
I have tried to upload them to third party sites and tried watching it through cs2 but I can't use them. Third party sides say the demo doesn't work and with cs2 it just gets stuck in the loading screen.
I am not sure if this is a bug or I am doing something wrong so would love some feedback.

Hi,

Have you tried enabling this command: tv_record_immediate 1 if that will make any difference to you.

I use it myself, but I haven't heard anyone else who has servers through me complaining about problems with demo recording.
