Unfortunately, Blizzard is not keeping pre-patch and beta talents synchronized which is causing issues. SimC currently requires talent strings from beta to work because SimC devs are focused on Season 1 sims right now and are not prioritizing pre-patch. For many classes, live and beta strings will be the same but some are incompatible.

Ideally, Blizzard will get these talent strings synced back up and things will work again. But there's a real chance this issue will persist until the expansion launches next month.

I'm keeping an eye on this issue to see if anything can be done.
