This may have to do with an outdated package since the local one is running in a Docker container.

works fine on demo-protocol: https://www.repronim.org/demo-protocol (on a chrome like browser). for filing such issues, please provide a way to replicate (browser, deployed url, etc.,)

works fine for me. i didn't go past audio check. can you try clearing out cache or using a different browser?

I normally use Brave. It definitely is a problem there, even after clearing the cache. On Safari, I was previously having the issue and had it briefly again when I went to it just now. However, on reload it appears to be gone. There does not seem to be a problem on Chrome.

works on brave for me. if you have the latest macos (sequoia), it changed how permissions are provided for audio and screen recording for apps. so there is now a system level permission that you can enable for a month or disable and a browser level permission. perhaps you disabled one of these.
