This would need to be done on the pydata-sphinx-theme repo now as we use their field-list styling. Here is an example of what the field lists look like: https://pydata-sphinx-theme.readthedocs.io/en/stable/examples/kitchen-sink/lists.html#field-list

I am not sure I follow my above comment. I may have been looking at something else. I think the SPEC list is here:
https://scientific-python.org/specs/

That still needs to be converted to using our theme table styling, which is still being worked on. Once scientific-python/scientific-python-hugo-theme#572 is merged, I will take care of updating the SPEC list.
