Hi. A quick read of the Sanic website front page gives the impression of maintenance problems with the project, and it takes a fair amount of reading elsewhere to figure out that these problems are mostly behind the project now, actually.

Basically, at the bottom of the front page, one sees "The next release of Sanic will be in December 2018". Given that we are past that date, I feel a red flag will go up right away for people who are not familiar with the project.

The option involving more work would be to have a front page that explains what Sanic is, what its advantages are, etc., and to move the blog to a subpage. But designing that is a fair amount of work... So maybe the short-term option that involves less work would be to make sure to have a quick blog post whenever a release is made. (If I had seen a blog post saying "Sanic Dec. 2018 is released" above the "new management" one, that red flag wouldn't have gone up. Hope this is helpful.

Thanks for the heads up @chrish42 - we literally threw this together after the new core team took over from the previous maintainers. We are behind in a few areas. I'll look at getting this updated.

😞 Yeah... I've been meaning to do both of those. A quick blog to stay up to date, and recruit a team to help design a new ACTUAL front page: examples, features, highlighted projects, etc.
