In large buildings with lots of small apartments, you may share the same geographical location as 10 neighbours. This would limit it being used by postal services without a combination with a appartment number or similar.

Thanks for your suggestion Ivan,
It might be possible to add a comment marker in the Xaddres, for example "/" and use
7150 MAGICAL PEARL / 2a apt.
Malaku - Indonesia.

So everything after the "/" will be a comment to the reader and not used to decode the location.

why not using the altitude ?

In several apartments or flats, there are separate home owners living on the same floor.
Using just the altitude might not solve the problem in such a case. @nykopol

I don't XAddress is meant to solve this problem. The primary purpose of XAddress is to encode and decode geolocations without having to remember long numbers.

Allowing a way to include comments in the Xaddress will let you include any additional info you might need, for example you can say:

7150 MAGICAL PEARL (APT 2A)
(Palua nila island) MALAKU- INDONESIA

So everything marked as a comment will be ignored when decoding the xaddress but can be useful to add any interesting info.
