I am currently adding an option to Verovio for rendering neumes as CWMN notes. The tentative name for the option is --neume-as-note. The underlying idea is for a file encoded with the neume module to be displayed with note heads. This is also something that could be useful if one want to have Volpiano support in Verovio.
I would like to had rendering of plica (as small notes) and ligatures (as brackets or slurs), but I am not sure how they should be encoded. Would somebody from the MEI neumes-ig be able to help? @fujinaga?

Any thoughts on this? Thank you
