czkawka_gui freezes often when handling files in external drive

This behavior is inconsistent and some days the program works flawlessly so I have not been able to exactly pinpoint where the issue is, but while using czkawka_gui, the GUI will consistently hang after performing actions such as deleting duplicate images or even opening the settings.

I used to be able to get around this by just trying over and over until the program didn't hang anymore in those actions, but some days the program is downright unusable.

Most often, when I have checked a few duplicate files and press "Delete", the program will freeze. Opening with admin privileges does not solve the issue, and I had this issue in czkawka_gui 6.1 too.

I have tried the "deleting obsolete items in cache" option but that also causes the program to hang.

Can't seem to find any logs.
