We are deprecating the Windows Server 2019 build machine image currently in use on our Windows build machines and replacing it with a new image using Windows Server 2022. This affects you if you are using the Windows build machine in Codemagic.
Upgrading to the Windows Server 2022 image will allow us to provide a more secure and reliable build experience as well as resolve some known issues Codemagic users have been facing with the 2019 image:

You can override the default software versions and install other versions during the build.
What action is required from me?
The transition is automatic and does not require any action from you. However, since the preinstalled software on the new image is updated to new defaults, you may need to update your project dependencies to ensure your workflows continue to run as expected.
