I'd like to open this discussion to hear the opinions from the community about the current behaviour of the collector.
Today, when a component fails to start, the whole collector crashes.
I'd like to hear opinions on this.
I'll start sharing my opinion, if I have 10 receivers defined and 1 fail to start, I'd like to have a WARNING message, but I'd like my collector to start and run normally.
Does that make sense, or it is better to fail at startup and let the user fix the issue before they miss the value?
This also makes sense, and I understand why this has been the followed approach till now.
