I would like to request an enhancement be considered for the IMDB plugin. Currently the IMDB plugin details page for a specific show dows not show the latest season episode first shown date. This would be very useful information for the end user to be able to determine if the show in the EPG is a true new episode or in fact a repeat.
This detail is available in IMDB if you look at the episode list for a given show (and show all episodes). On the website version of IMDB it shows by default the latest season and the latest episode with a date.
As an example. If you look at the UK program on BBC1 called dragons den ( https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443370/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 ) you can see a prominent "Next Episode" marker with the date of the next new release episode. If you dig further by showing "All Episodes" then the latest season is displayed by defaul with the last two occurances of the show. It is easy to tell from this whether the episode is a repeat or if it is a brand new episode.
As there is no way from the EPG to get a reliable indication of whether a program is new or a repeat, this would be a very useful addition. At the moment the only way to acheive this is to get a phone/computer and browse to IMDB and then search for the show and perform the process off the enigma2 platform.
The data is there on IMDB and it should be possible to parse and present this data. There could, perhaps, be an additional color selection button next to the "details" and "extra info" buttons to say "Episode history". This could then parse all the episodes of the chosen title, present the latest season at the top with the assigned date.
Many thanks
Paul

I'm not sure this is as useful as you make it out to be. The idea is useful, but I'm not sure IMDb is the right approach. For example, I went to Family Law, which IMDb tells me the most recent is S2E8 (25 Aug 23) & next is S2E9 (1 Sep 23). However, here in Aus we've already seen those (indeed, it just finished being repeated).
