I know a bunch of things are broken right now, but I wanted to mention these so they get added to the list.

  1. Themes+ is being overridden by Tumblr's forced CSS colors. At the very bottom of the page, I can see a sliver of my background image, so it's like the colors have just been overlaid on top or something.

  2. Also, I don't know which extension this might fall under, but with endless scrolling disabled, the different pages are extremely short now. Like, 3-5 posts each, when I think I had 10-15 before the update.

  3. I've tried to disable pre-loading in Vanilla Videos to try to stop them from auto-playing, but they're still doing it.

Thank you for everything you do!

  1. Themes+ hasn't been updated at all for the new dashboard; see New dashboard: extension progress #1802
  2. Paginated scrolling isn't provided by XKit; Tumblr only loads a few posts on the first "page" for performance reasons (since post HTML rendering is now done client-side), but should be 10 posts on subsequent "pages"; if this isn't the case, please contact tumblr support
  3. i couldn't reliably reproduce vanilla videos autoplaying on the new dash but i'll try to see what can be done to outright prevent it

I don't know if it's the tumblr redesign or the xkit redesign, but my safety fixes to block autoplaying video aren't working any more.

Some success using Vanilla Video, and checking do not preload. Not sure why it's working for me but not for you. I'm using Firefox 78, and had already changed preferences to try to block autoplay there, maybe the combination is the key.

Vanilla Videos' latest version (v1.0.1, released 3 days ago) should never have autoplaying videos now
