Sensor on non Battery source

Hi,

quick one. I try to get some data out of the IBS sensor. Used your links to get some snippets.
Some how I get a bunch of ff:00:00:00 answers from the sensor.

Made the wiring like the other guys.

Could using a "normal" power supply or Lipo be the source of my problem? Wil lthe sensor do anything once not on a car battery?
I try to get the root of my issue. :(

normaly, this sensors are for PB Batterys, they will not work on lion battery or power supply, you may have a schematic of your setup ?

Okay. Maybe this is the issue. I just replaced the PB one with a lip, adding GND and VCC on the PINS of the sensor. No real schematic at the moment.

Will retry once I have the correct battery. It is just placed in where it is used. So I guiess I need to work on this outdoor the next days.

Will keep this open, as I may post my findings late on!
