On-premises access for vnet deployed containers

Hi! It seems that on-premises connectivity for containers provisioned in a vnet is limited to the rfc1918 range of private ip addresses. Is this a limitation of the current preview? When can we expect to see support for adding a routing table to the container subnet to address this limitation?

As of January 2021, I observe that connectivity to private IP addresses outside the RFC1918 range does work.
